Downloading the ProENTRY IV Installer

When you click on the Install button in the ProENTRY IV download page, some web browsers will offer you the option of running ProENTRY4Setup.exe rather than saving it. This is perfectly acceptable. If you are installing the demo, you must be logged on to Windows with administrator privileges in order to install the Microsoft database.

If you chose to download ProENTRY4Setup.exe, save the file in a convenient, easy-to-remember location such as your desktop.

If you are installing the demo on an older PC or one with less than 200MB of free memory, the installer will install Microsoft SQL 2000 Desk Top Engine (MSDE) rather than SQL Server 2005 Express. In this case, you MUST log on as the Special Administrator.

The ProENTRY IV Setup program uses iDeploy internet technology and your preferences to download and install only the required components. Since the installer requires internet access to obtain these components, it is imperative that you be connected to the internet during installation.
